Learning Remote Codes or programming a Transmitter to a Receiver:

Remove the cover from the main control unit. The Receiver is located in the lower right hand corner of the control enclosure.

After Power is ON:

A. Press & hold the Learn Button on the receiver for 3 seconds and release.

B. Immediately Press & hold any transmitter button for 3 seconds and release.

C. Immediately Press & hold any transmitter button a second time for 3 seconds and release.

All buttons and codes have been read. The Remote is now Fully Functional.

Repeat the above steps for any additional Remotes you wish to program to your TEC Unit.
(Up to 20 Remotes can be Programmed to a TEC Unit)


Clearing Instructions (If Necessary).
Press and continuously hold the learn button until the Led light
flashes several times and goes out.
This clears all hand held transmitters to this receiver.

Test the Up, Down, Stop, and Light buttons on the hand held transmitter.
There should not be any response after clearing the codes.
Follow the programming instructions above to now connect each desired transmitter.


**Please Note there is a 3-5 Second Safety Delay When
Switching Directions Between Up and Down**

Programming Instructions
There are either 2 or 5 buttons on the receiver marked 
Mode Switch #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 (2 buttons on Non A/C units & 5 on A/C units)
DO NOT Press Mode Switch # 5 as this one
changes the operation of the Receiver.

1.  With the power to the unit turned on, press and hold
Mode Switch #1 for 6 seconds; release.
2.  Press the Up button on the hand held transmitter
and hold for 3 seconds.
Wait 5 seconds before proceeding to the next step. 
 
3.  Press and hold Mode Switch #2 for 6 seconds; release.
4.  Press the Down button on the hand held transmitter
and hold for 3 seconds.
Wait 5 seconds before proceeding to the next step.
 
** If you're Unit is not an Auto stop Unit stop after step #4

5. Press and hold Mode Switch #3 For 6 seconds; release.
6. Press the Stop button on the hand held transmitter
and hold for 3 seconds.
Wait 5 seconds before proceeding to the next step.

* If you’re A/C unit does not have the light option
or only 3 Buttons stop after step #6
 
7. *(If your unit is equipped with the light option)
Press and hold Mode Switch #4 for 6 seconds; release.
8. Press the Yellow Light button on the hand held
transmitter and hold for 3 seconds.
Wait 5 seconds before proceeding.

Code Clearing Process (If Necessary)
With the power turned on:

1. Press and hold Mode Switch 1 for 7 Seconds,
   release Mode Switch 1 and Press and hold Mode Switch 1
   again for 7 Seconds, Mode Switch 1 or Up is now cleared.
2. Now Press and hold Mode Switch 2 for 7 Seconds,
   release Mode Switch 2 and Press and hold Mode Switch 2
   again for 7 Seconds, Mode Switch 2 or Down is now Cleared.
3. Now Press and hold Mode Switch 3 for 7 Seconds,
   release Mode Switch 3 and Press and hold Mode Switch 3
   again for 7 Seconds, Mode Switch 3 or Stop is now Cleared.
4. Now Press and hold Mode Switch 4 for 7 Seconds,
   release Mode Switch 4 and Press and hold Mode Switch 4
   again for 7 Seconds, Mode Switch 4 or Light is now Cleared.

Test the Up, Down, Stop, and Light buttons
on the hand held transmitter.
There should not be any response after clearing the mode switches.
Proceed to programming instructions above

Instructions for programming
TEC Two Button Hand Held Transmitter
The receiver is located in the lower right hand corner
of the control enclosure.

Programming

There are two buttons on the receiver marked (CH1) and (CH2)
With the power to the unit turned on;

1. Press and quickly release the CH2 receiver button.
2. When the LED light comes on,
   depress the left transmitter button
   (the up button on the hand held unit)
   and hold down for 2 seconds.
3. The receiver LED light should start Blinking.
   
4. Then press and quickly release the CH1 receiver button.
   When the LED Light comes on,
   depress the right transmitter button
   (the down button on the hand held unit)
   and hold for 2 seconds.
5. The receiver LED light should be blinking.

This completes programming.

Code Clearing (If Necessary)
To clear the Radio Receiver of all codes.
With the power turned on and warmed up for 15 seconds
- press and hold the CH 2 button for 25 seconds.
Repeat for CH 1 with the CH 1 button.
Now try the hand held transmitter;
if neither the up or down buttons activate the lift
you have successfully cleared the radio receiver
and can move to the programming instructions above.
If the receiver is not cleared repeat the above again.
